Castaway Castle

Castaway Castle made our stay in Destin very enjoyable. Accommodations were top rate. Clean, convenient to beach, rooms galore. We had to go looking for each other, it was so big! Accommodations for all.

Absolutely beautiful! Would recommend this place to everyone!

First off, our reservation specialist Ellen was so friendly, SO easy to work with and responsive in minutes! This house is absolutely perfect for a trip with friends. Between the multiple floors, it’s perfect for multi-family as well. The house is about a .2 walk to the beach entrance but includes 1 cart and a few beach chairs - no tent which is understandable. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back.

Hi there, thank you for giving us a terrific home to enjoy the weekend in! Our guests had a fine stay at The Castaway Castle, and I will look to book this home again in the future!

The perfect kid friendly house and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to make this home our annual getaway with friends who live in nearby states.

The home was decorated so nicely but everything was kid friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to make it an annual trip and stay in the same house. It was perfect for our three families (including 7 children).

A wonderful experience renting through 850! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked with towels and basic supplies. All by all , I would rent that property again ! Daniel , the property manager was EXTREMELY HELPFUL!

This stay was great, we had more than enough room to sleep 13. The maintenance guy Mr. Daniel was great and accessible. Would recommend for future stay!!!

Access to the boat slip from the house was just what we needed for our crab island days and a nice pool after golf days.

Fantastic location for a beach rental with easy beach access and a nice salt-water pool onsite that everyone enjoyed. Best part of the house is the HUGE standalone ice maker as it worked perfectly for filling up coolers and for making frozen drinks all week!! Daniel - the gentleman managing the house - was extremely responsive and helpful any time we had any problems with the house. And use of the dock behind the house next door to pick up a boat taxi for dinner was icing on the cake. The only downside worth noting was that there are no bathrooms on the bottom floor so all the kids in the bunks have to come upstairs to use the restroom.

We all had a fabulous vacation. This house was the best decorated and well kept house(inside)that we rented in Destin this far. (Our 7th house in Destin)The outside patio was great. The pool was smaller then it appeared in the picture., but it serve its purpose. The outside needs a little TLC but we know how hard that is with not much down time from back to back rentals. The 3rd floor balcony was a great spot to watch the Harbor Walk Fireworks. Thanks for the excellent service and being accessible when needed. Differently recommend this place and this company for rentals in the future. ☀️ Destin July 2022

You will not be disappointed with the location. Great access to the beach, bay and local food. House was very nice, clean and well stocked. Only slight negative is the bunk room is a very small room but good for kids sleeping. Thank you for letting us stay.

Loved this place perfect for what we needed! And Daniel was the best!

We all enjoyed the accommodations very much. We especially enjoyed the many decks, reading nooks and decor! It was perfect for everyone to be able to maintain their own privacy but also have a large enough space for us all to come together. The host was very accommodating with all requests.

We loved the location, the road was not busy and the private beach was a quick, easy walk. The neighborhood was nice and the house fit our large 3 family group with kids very well. The decorations were nice and everyone we talked to from 850 was great to work with.

We had an awesome time! The house is in a perfect location, close to the beach and close to other things in town. The management company Was awesome with their communication. We had a couple small issues during our stay and they were addressed immediately. Overall everything was great and we would be back!

This place was amazing filled with at home amenities additional fridge for drinks located downstairs easy access from the pool area. The staff and owners truly care about making this best experience they can despite the Home Owners Regulations. We had privacy the whole time from the other homes located in the area. Recommend highly renting from them. Thank you for all that you did during our stay.

Such a beautiful home in a wonderful location. Loved the outdoor space and the golf cart was a plus! We stay in Destin once a year with our family and our best friends and their family! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Our family of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful, spacious home. When we arrived, everything was very clean and ready to start enjoying our vacation. Thanks Castaway Castle!!!!

The house was beautiful for my daughter’s destination wedding. Dan the maintenance man went over and above what was expected to make sure the house and yard were wedding ready for her big day. Ellen was so accommodating and helpful as well. After COVID cancelled us in 2020 it was refreshing to have it go off without a hitch in 2021! Thanks 850 Vacations for making it all come together!

Excellent Service at this beautiful property. By the end of our first morning, we learned the kitchen did not have but a couple wine glasses and spoons for a property with service for 16. Within a short time from contacting management, we received a case of lovely wine glasses and new sets of spoons. The entire vacation experience was fantastic and our family could not have had a more memorable surprise graduation celebration anywhere else. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this property!

11 of us enjoyed the castaway castle! The house is absolutely gorgeous not a bad room in the home! Everything works and in top condition! The support staff are incredibly responsive! It’s a short walk to the beach and the price is right! Paul

Property was just as depicted online. Beautiful, accommodated us perfectly and pretty clean. Will definitely stay here again if I ever need a place this big again.

Nice rental. Very open and spacious common area and nice size bedrooms. Very welcoming atmosphere with lights on and music playing. Short walk to beach access and short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The cleanliness was just a little lacking with window blinds dirty and large containers of hand soap sitting on couches and tables.

This was our second time to stay here. Perfect location for easy access to a quiet beach and plenty of room for everyone! Beautiful and comfortable home.

Beautiful house with great amenities and great location! Close to restaurants, bars and shopping! Host was very responsive and accommodating!

The house is just has beautiful and clean has the pictures. Our party had 6 adults and 10 kids. There was more than enough space for the adults be to separate from the kids and for us all to have singing and dance competition in the family room and not feel crowded.. We all enjoyed the indoor/ outdoor living along with the heat pool. Only one downside it’s extra cost for the heated pool and it’s not stated in description.. But overall 5star Castaway Castle. I would definitely recommend to everyone considering Destin, Fl. for vacation.

The only issue is that one of the rooms has two twin size beds which is not very comfortable for two adults but other than that we as a group had no other issues. The pool isn't huge but it's still a nice pool and the walk to the beach is less than 3 minutes. We went as a group and everybody was very pleased with the house and how it was setup. All in all the stay was much better than any hotel stay and I will be definitely staying their again. Furthermore, the owners were very nice as well and were prompt with their responses when I had questions.
