The property was beautiful, well maintained, and the communication from the agent were amazing! Amazing! Place is absolutely gorgeous, and if I get the chance, I will absolutely rent there again! A family reunion or a wedding or group getaway!

We held my daughter's wedding here, and it was perfect! So many people want to come back here for other events. The staff at 850 rentals could not have been more sweet. They accommodated our families, and we're very understanding! Love this place! Thank you so much for all your communications and help!

The Navigators Nest was perfect. The home and all the amenities made it a perfect trip down to Destin.

This was the perfect house choice for our family vacation. It was perfect for our 5 children, their spouses and the grandchildren, total of 24 of us. There was something for everyone and the location was close to everything. Short walk to our private access beach area that was amazing. The dock was perfect for fishing with the grandkids. The pool was nice and big and we loved it!!! I would definitely recommend Navigators Nest for a large group. The location was awesome!!!

We had 5 families with 22 total people. Everyone had room to hang out & each person had their own bed! Wonderful house just steps away from the beach!

Navigator’s Nest was perfect for our group of 5 families all with teenage boys. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

We had a great family reunion here with 30 people! Excellent space for hanging out and catching up. The outdoor space was definitely used a lot, and the heated pool was great for both the kids and adults. We all enjoyed our stay very much, excellent location and short walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the pool table and air hockey too. Our only negative to this space was that you can’t access the upstairs except by the outside stairs. We didn’t realize it was basically 3 separate units. Thankfully it only rained one day that we were there, so coming and going between spaces outside wasn’t too bad. Overall we really enjoyed it and would book it again.

The Nest was well worth it for a short weekend getaway with family. Comfortable accommodations for all to get the rest needed after staying up late. The fire pit, boat dock, pool, lanai furniture, etc...was fantastic. May have to do this again in warmer weather conditions. Great place.

Can't say enough great things about this property and the company that manages it. Before I checked in, Daniel (our maintenance/info man) was extremely easy to communicate with, and flexible with those in our group who had early flights. The house itself was amazing. I thought it looked great from the pictures when I booked, but it was 10 times cooler in person. The house is right on the water, has a massive outdoor area with pool and grilling area, 3 kitchens, and enough bed space for everyone in our 21 person group to sleep comfortably. If you've never been to Destin (which most of us had not), it's a short drive, water taxi, or Uber away from the boardwalk, which is where we spent most nights. We hadn't even checked out yet and we were already talking about how we have to come back and do the trip again. Don't hesitate to book this one!

Great location near beach and easy water taxi to boardwalk. Clean and property management was kind and helpful. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but clean. Property is broken into three different units which provided our group privacy when needed. We will rent again.

We have a group of 5 families (10 adults, 14 little kids) and have been coming to Destin together for several years. This property was our favorite--the combination of separate living spaces, large outdoor pool area, fishing off the dock, and beach access were unparalleled. Also, the rental company was super helpful--Daniel even helped us replace two lost pool balls when one of the kids lost them somewhere!

This home was perfect for our large family group, everyone had room and didn't feel crowded. The views were beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed already provided. We already can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this location accommodations were perfect the pool and the outdoor area was amazing met all of her expectations the only thing that I would change is that there would be possibly a toilet by the outdoor shower and maybe change the handles on the sliding doors as you’re coming in from outside. What an amazing job Daniel did I just wanna make sure that that gets to the owner of the property because he was phenomenal at helping us with any problems that we had

We had an amazing time at the navigators nest. Ages 2-84. Everything was so perfect. The maintenance man Daniel was amazing. The only thing I’d change would be a bathroom outside by the shower or one centrally located on the first floor. With the capability to sleep 12 on the first floor, having 1 shared bathroom isn’t realistic. Also maybe some fans outside. We will definitely be back.

The house was exactly as described- very clean, lots of privacy, well equipped and close Proximity to beach shopping and grocery. We had a very large family gathering but everyone had their own space- pool and dock were great features- sunrise from the pool deck was beautiful- very short walk to the beach- the ease of making reservation checking in and correspondence from the maintenance crew was great- we didn’t need anything from them but they checked in on us- we are making reservations to come back next year! We have vacationed as a family for six years in Destin/Miramar area and this is by far the best place we have stayed!

We had three families & the house was perfect. Lots of space. The covered patio was great. Plenty of outdoor seating & the pool was big & clean! The beds were comfortable & the ice machine was a great perk. The location is great. Short walk to the private beach access & the dock allowed us to use the water taxi. Communication with the maintenance crew was excellent.

We were looking for a great wedding reception house where our immediate family and friends could also stay at while attending our wedding. Navigators nest did not disappoint. The 3 individual units were great and the beds were comfy. 20 of our F&F stayed the entire week and had a blast! The pool, the deck, the view, fishing from the dock, pool tournaments were all a hit. We ended up getting married at the house due to rain and the covered deck saved our ceremony! Only recommendations about the house is updating some of the bathrooms, better organization of the kitchen, but other than that it was great. Dan our main contact for anything we needed was excellent and super responsive! Thank you for a great wedding location!

There was 9 of us in total and the house met every single one of our needs. It could easily hold more people. The boat dock was amazing because we were able to rent a boat for our stay and in just a quick ride we were able to be at Crab Island. The house was also equipped with an icemaker which was a game changer. Will be renting again.

This place is much bigger in person than what the pictures online make it look like. The downstairs suite is incredible. Every room in the house was unique, spacious, and very clean. The huge outdoor seating area and pool were fantastic. My fiancé and I had our families meet for the first time on vacation here, and it was nice that each family unit had their own private space, kitchen, A/C, bathrooms, and even washer and dryer. It never felt crowded and you could always find a quiet place if you wanted even with 25 people there. I would love to stay here again! The view of the harbor and options for water taxis to come pick you up was fun to take advantage of as well. The neighborhood is quiet but still within 10 minutes of all major attractions in Destin.

Great stay! Clean and everything we needed was provided! What I didn’t know was that the bedrooms of the upper level of the house were like large hotel suites. Each with private entrances. I really liked that for privacy and convenience! Each having there own kitchen, which was great for a large crowd!! Close to the beach and a great beach it was! I wish I was there!!! Our maintenance man, Daniel, was quick to respond to our questions and concerns! A good time was had by all!

My friends and I got together as a reunion for a long weekend here. The house was absolutely beautiful! It is so spacious with a great outdoor area for everyone to gather. This house would also be great for a few families to vacation together, as each family could have their own area. This was really the best vacation!

Big and beautiful house we enjoyed it so much

This was one of the most peaceful rentals ever rented. The house in itself had more than enough room for everybody in my group to sleep and gather. The view was great. It felt like we were out on an island alone as the neighbors were super quiet. This place is perfect for gatherings of any kind. I definitely recommend it! Communication with the property management was transparent and straight to the point! It was easy to get in contact and get any issue taken care of if there were to be any. The management was great!

We have rented a big rental houses before and so far this place has everything you need to accommodate big families. We had four group of families (total 16 & 2 dogs) with ages ranging from 3 to 82 yes old. I was very impressed with all variety of appliances being available and high quality to accommodate large people. For those who likes to cook, having a good cooktop and and gadgets being available is a big deal and this place has everything. Having an ice machine that’s working really well was a big plus as well. Maintenance man, Daniel was awesome as well. He responded all my text right away when I had some issue and questions and he came over right away to help us. Can’t ask for a better service than this. We just didn’t have much luck with catching fish but that’s mother nature so can’t do anything about it. This place was awesome!

The online photos of this house looked amazing, but filtered and the reviews about being split into multiple areas left questions. While arriving we didn’t know what to expect. The neighborhood looked nice, but the front of the house lacked a little with curb appeal. Once we walked around back…….Wow! This house didn’t need front curb appeal! The back of the property was beautiful and the layout of the 3 separate living areas was amazing. This decor in this home and attention to detail is unmatched in any rental I have stayed in thus far. I highly recommend this home for any large group of people looking to have a blast!

We enjoyed staying on the bay side because it offered the ability to use the dock for water taxi's to and from the boardwalk area, as well as rented pontoon boats. The home was sectioned which allowed for everyone to be comfortable in their area or join one another in the common area. We enjoyed the pool very much, nothing like an early morning swim or evening night watching the bay next to the blue lit pool. We were only able to visit the beach one day, but it was a quick 3-5 minute walk from the house and we were met with a beautiful beach, not crowded, with plenty of space to relax and feel the seclusion from the hustle of large public areas. I can't think of one complaint for this property and the manager was very easy to speak with. He provided details and assistance at any time. Date of arrival - September 8, 2021

This house was amazing!! We loved that it had everything we needed!!! The location was great. Lots to keep us occupied. Would definitely go back again.

We had a wonderful time. Lots to do in Destin and we rented a pontoon boat and had hours of fun cruising around and visiting Crab Island. The pool was great and the outside porch was huge and a perfect place for the sun shy. The kids loved the fire pit in the evening. The owner is so accomodating and accessible. Thank you for having such a nice house for a big family to enjoy a week of fun in the sun! Great sunrise and sunset pictures too. We loved everything about it.

What a perfect vacation property! It was the perfect size for our large family! Ideal location and well equipped! We had a fantastic trip and will definitely be back and use 850 vacation rentals again!!! Ellen is the bomb!!!

Liked having access to Gulf and inlet

Beautiful location with plenty of space for a large group. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for 25 people. The harbor was beautiful and a great option for a week with rough waters. A couple things we learned or that made our stay easier: *The house really is three separate living spaces. The upstairs living areas are not connected with interior doors, but there is easy access from the deck. This separate areas were great for when you needed some down time. *The downstairs area is large with a pool table and darts. *The pirate room was so cool even the adults wanted to stay in the room. *There is a good supply of beach “stuff” (chairs, wagons, etc.) on the property. *The pool area and outside seating were perfect for pool days, corn hole, and cookouts *The dock allowed for the kids to fish and launch kayaks and paddle boards. I highly recommend renting kayaks as there is a sand bar in the middle of the harbor that is almost like a mini-crab island. Get sand shoes though! We spent a day out there and it was so fun. *The walk to the beach is short but if you are dragging a bunch of stuff, I would recommend getting a golf cart. We got a 6-seater and it saved our backs. *Check-in process was smooth and the communication from the property manager was through text throughout the week. Very accessible. *Take the water taxi — such a fun experience and a great way to avoid traffic. We will definitely consider this property again!

The pool was fantastic. Beach access was a short walk and beautiful. House was so clean and comfortable. Back patio was enormous and had plenty of seating. Only issue was noise complaints after 10pm. We only got one. We had a few late night heated volleyball pool games that got cut short. The main kitchen would blow fuses if you cooked too many things at once. Had to space out a few times. Owners are wonderful and very accommodating and responsive. This is the first VRBO that I would definitely stay at again!

We rented 2 homes from 850 Vacations for our wedding; one for the reception and to stay in for the week, another for my husband’s family, and a group of friends rented another one of 850’s properties for their stay, as well. We were so wildly impressed. The homes were beautiful, photos didn’t even begin to do them justice! We worked closely with Ellen who was absolutely wonderful.... professional, quick to reply to emails and phone calls, and happy to help with any questions or concerns. The maintenance guy was great and very readily available (though we never needed him). They checked in a time to two to be sure our stay was perfect. I can’t rave enough about 850 or their homes. They helped to make our wedding dreams come true! Will definitely book with them again in the future for family vacations.

Wow! Staying at Navigator’s Nest and working with 850 Rentals was the greatest experience I’ve ever had. Not only was the mansion superb and exceeding my expectations, but the property managers also helped to provide a “touch of home” and care that we needed to make our weekend unforgettable. Daniel and Ellen were fantastic in communicating information for our stay. My friends and family were in awe of the cleanliness, amenities and overall layout of the mansion. Everyone was able to have exactly what they needed through the thoughtful touches of the owner and the organized care of the property managers. We can’t wait to book our next trip to Destin and will absolutely be staying at Navigator’s Nest, or as we like to call it: HEAVEN!

It was an amazing property and experience. Very clean place and well kept up. It was a perfect place for the reason I rented it. Great location, near all the good bars in my opinion. The boat slips worked perfect. Will keep this house in mind for any future vacations.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The place was extremely clean and the management team was very responsive to the few questions we had. The heated pool was a blast for the kids and the outside area had plenty of room for the adults to spread out and enjoy the sun or shade. The three living units act like their own apartments giving people space when needed. The beach access is private and a quick walk from the house. The boat dock was so convenient as well. We will definitively be back.

We had such an incredible stay! Everything was absolutely perfect and our family enjoyed every second we were there! The homes were gorgeous, the beds were unbelievably comfortable (we are even looking into buying one of the mattresses) , and the Pirates Cove was (by far) the coolest room our children have ever stayed in. We cannot wait to return in 2021!

Navigators Nest | 6 Boat Slips | Waterfront Pool | Views!! | Game Room | 3 Kitchens Reservation ID #3974 We needed a place that had everything for three families so we could get away but more importantly, stay healthy during the pandemic. We arrived on Saturday the 26th at 4pm. They sent a text with the code for the keypad. Within an hour, they reached out to ensure the home was as expected and followed that up with a text with Daniel’s contact info in the event we needed anything or had any issues. We never had to reach out, this home was perfection! The home is actually 3 separate homes. They are all magnificently decorated and impeccably clean. This was absolutely perfect for my parents, my sisters family, and my family. Everyone’s living quarters had one master suite, one full size bedroom, one bunk bed room, kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry room and a guest bathroom. They had huge TVs, fully stocked kitchens, THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds, and everything you would ever need. Everyone would congregate in the down stairs home which had a vast open floor plan with a pool table and darts. It also had a room decorated like the hull of a pirate ship, named Pirates Cove, which even made the adults want to sleep in it. It had an air hockey table, treasure chest, and gymnastics mats. The outdoor space was the best part. The back yard had quite a long shore line on the bay side which included 6 boat landings and a long dock. All week long we fished of the deck catching sun fish, sea bass, a grunt, and even threw a cast net in and caught 10+ mullets. The home has a great seating area around a propane fire place, a long deck on the second floor to watch the birds or boats coming or leaving. The down stairs has a massive seating area to eat at after cooking on the grill. We played corn hole under the covered deck if it rained or near the pool if it was sunny. The only negative was the pool was not heated. Bummer, but there were a few bets lost causing a couple of us to get into the pool. We rented a golf cart which is dropped off at the house and picked up when you leave. We walked to the private beach access and strolled for miles in the morning, noon, and night. We have been to a lot of beaches and this one is the cleanest with the emerald colored water and the white sandy beach. Holiday Isle has one way in and one way out so it was a very safe place to let the older kids roam. I would definitely recommend this place for multi family gatherings where you can give each family space to breath. This home is worth every penny. We can’t wait to return!

We loved Navigator’s Nest. There was so much space inside and out. The pool area with the bay views can not be beat, and the Pirate’s bunk room is awesome! Working with Ellen before arrival and Daniel during our stay was a joy and all questions were immediately addressed. The only thing that could have made the stay better was a heated pool, which it sounds like might be an addition to the house in the future! Thank you for the wonderful week and we would definitely stay here again.

Me and 10 of my closet friends stayed at the Navigators Nest for the weekend and could not have been more impressed. The house was top of the line in every respect, and we will absolutely be booking it again in the future!

We absolutely were in love with this place!!! It was the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. We had everything we needed right here! Swimming, beautiful bay views, fishing off the dock, kayaking, jet skiing, stocked kitchen and grills to make all our meals and the most stunning beach just short walk away. We didn’t want to leave our own little paradise. You will not be disappointed with this trip! We cannot wait to return
