This house is totally amazing in all ways!! My husband rented it for my birthday week and we had five families gathered. Everyone had their own space and we would gather in the enormous kitchen for meals & games. The pool, hot tub and ping-pong area were used by all. We never felt crowded.& used every inch of the house. The proximity to the beach was astounding. We would go for sunset walks and enjoyed the proximity. The house was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen that I’ve ever experienced in a rental. The owners were very meticulous in their planning. We plan to rent it again in the future for family reunions. I highly recommend!! . Number one on my list.

Where to begin?! This was the perfect house for our large family get-together. We even had several children from 11mo-7 years old and we felt comfortable and safe, and were able to relax and have a wonderful time! We walked to the nearby beach, local eats, and more, and also enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. It’s the most beautiful house we’ve stayed in and the attention to detail made us feel right at home!

My husband and I celebrated our Birthdays at this "Grand Villa, THE CAROUSEL, and what an AWESOME HOME TO gather with Family and Friends! This FABULOUS VILLA FILLED ALL OF THE AMENITIES AND MORE! NOT TO MENTION THE HUGE KITCHEN. OUR CHIEFS DELIGHT. THE ELEVATOR WAS A GOD SENT FOR ME WITH KNEE ISSUES. ALL THE SUITES AND MY GOD THE BACK YARD OASIS TO DREAM ABOUT.! ALL THE PATIO, DECKS WERE AMAZING, ESPECIALLY THE 4TH FLOOR DECK, LOOKING OVER THE GULF, MESMERIZING! The "CAROUSEL VILLA WAS A DREAM HOME TO TALK ABOUT FOREVER. DANIEL WAS TRULY A GOD SENT MAN TO WORK WITH AS WELL AS ELLEN. THANKS TO THE OWNERS AS WELL AS 850 RENTAL FOR MAKING OUR CELEBRATION A TRUE SUCCESS!!! WE'LL BE BACK!

There were 21 of us ranging in ages 8 to 82. Everyone in our group gave Carousel a 5+ rating! Some extra awesomeness: a large well- appointed kitchen w spices and a separate area for bar and coffee, hot tub, ping pong/pool and bonus Pac-Man, location ( deer in yard and beach less than a block away), squeaky clean, soft throw blankets, incredible “rooftop lounge” w firepits, comfortable furniture, plenty of areas to take a nap, read a book, or do a little work,and best of all, clear communications and Daniel! Thank you for sharing this slice of paradise w our family- we will never forget the week!

This hit every mark for each of the 21 of us gathered together for a week. From age 8-82, each person had their favorite amenity: well socked kitchen, comfortable beds/furniture, ice maker, 4th floor in general specifically the firepits and lac man, lush vegetation and evening visits from the deer neighbors, hot jacuzzi/warm pool, ping pong, plenty of bathrooms, lots of room to spread out…. List goes on. Tasteful art, stunning elevator, turf grass, large driveway…. Our property manager was always very attentive/responsive (when we needed the heat on in the jacuzzi and telling us about local activities like the new year’s polar plunge). We thank you heartily for providing this beautiful place for us to make memories!

With 25 people including 5 teenage boys, our three generation family gathering filled this house and it was up to the task. This house is truly designed to accommodate a large group. Examples of this are all of the bedrooms on upper floors, away from the living area, the huge double kitchen provided room for lots of cooks, plus table seating for 29 people. The washer dryer near the pool was so convenient for drying loads of pool towels. The house was stocked with everything we needed. But the real plus was 850 management company. We were assigned a team member who knew the house and who promptly responded to texts. We've already rebooked.

Our family spends at least one week a year on 30A. We fell in love with the beaches, the beach houses, and the friendly people. Each house we have stayed in has been unique and tends to take on its own personality. The Carousel was no exception. It was a warm and friendly place where we felt at home. We often gathered in the comfortable living area to watch a new series, enjoyed family dinners full of love and laughter, and escaped to the backyard, where we cooled off after a fantastic day at the beach. Though the house is large, we felt close. The Carousel was the perfect place for our family to relax, connect, and, most importantly, make memories that will last a lifetime.

Beautiful house and well equipped and comfortable. Kitchen is a dream for large family. Had plenty of utensils and chairs to sit. We cook a lot so very convenient. Beautiful decor with enough seating and TV's to make everyone happy. Very nice home!! Extra helpful have the beach chairs/umbrellas since that section of beach does not allow chair service. Home was immaculate and clean upon arrival Communication with Daniel was superb. Very prompt, courteous and friendly. Very impressed with the attention to service. Thanks to your staff for a wonderful vacation from start to ending. We plan to be back!! The James' Family

Great location, great beach, great house. Carousel seems to think of everything for vacation families. Plus, everything in the house is "Kept Up" and maintained. Customer service was always available to help our family. Highly recommend.

We have been visiting 30 A for over 15 years and this was the best house that we’ve ever stayed in! With our family of 22 people, it fit our every need! Location was perfect, much less crowds and easy access to the Beach. We cannot wait to return next year for our annual beach trip and stay in this wonderful home! Also, Daniel, the maintenance/information man for the property was a great source for any questions, or needs! Highly recommend this property!

We have been vacationing at 30 A for over 15 years. This is by far our favorite house that we have ever stayed in. With our family of 22 people, every need was met. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and with such a large group it was wonderful having double appliances! The rooms were large and provided extra sleeping for our grandchildren. The top floor game room was enjoyed by all. The location to the beach was very convenient and was not crowded! The property manager was easy to reach with any questions that we had, and really tried to make everything perfect for our stay! We cannot wait to come back next year and enjoy this beautiful home again!

STUNNING!! The carousel was absolutely fabulous . I’ve been renting for 40 + yrs in the Destin area & by far this home exceed all of the places. It’s has everything you could possibly need & more. It was a short walk to the beach. Also want to mention any questiions I had , Daniel was very quick to respond & very attentive. My family can’t wait to go back next year.

This is a fantastic property with all the amenities and features you could ever ask for. Very thoughtful design. The pool, hot tub, elevator, kitchen, and fourth floor were all very enjoyable. The property manager was awesome. We have been coming to Santa Rosa Beach since 1997 and this is by far the best managed property we have stayed at, thank you! I could not give this property or 850 Vacation Rentals a higher rating. The home and management of it were simply amazing!

Great house. The property was filled with very thoughtful features and amenities for the guests. Could not give a higher recommendation for the property or the property manager. We have been staying in Blue Mountain Beach since 1997 and this is by far the best property manager we have experienced!

Round and round it goes, where it stops....? You'll have to stay here to find out! Our family of thirteen loved every bit of this house, top to bottom - from the beautifully scenic views, to the gorgeously huge kitchen! We've rented more then ten properties in Blue Mountain Beach alone, and this one is tops, for sure. Our family needs have changed over the last 20 years, no more so than this year, when one family member became accessible needs. After after a rough two years getting her back to the point where she could be far away from her docs, we rented a place through 850 Vacations in Grayton Beach. Unfortunately, when they informed us that property was being renovated and would not be ready in time, we were really disappointed because our choices for properties with accessibility were radically small. However, 850 came through with flying colors by helping is manage to rent Carousel! I can't say enough about the company AND the site manager, Daniel. Checkin was a breeze, the home was completely clean and ready for us - and all our requests were accomplished quickly and efficiently. Check out instructions were clear, and reasonable.Just about everything you could ever need is available - beach toys and chairs, yard games, lots of ice, storage for food and PLENTY of ice! You can view sunrise AND sunset on the top floor balcony!A few suggestions I would make to make this even better:- While the elevator makes this property work for the wheelchair bound, the bathrooms are not ideal. Having just one WC and one shower accessible would really make this perfect. Our daughter was able to use a portable commode and the outdoor shower to make it work, but they would need to come prepared.- a Keurig and mugs on the top floor to enjoy those stunning views in the morning without having to trudge up and down the stairs would be great!!- a few more serving spoons and wooden spoons for cooking.- a drying mat for both sides, plus more drying towels for lots of helpful grandkids! ;)Thanks so much for this wonderful property. It was a once-in-a-lifetime luxury for this family - and we loved every minute!

Carousel was fantastic!! What a beautiful, humongous house! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities, including the pool and hot tub, ping pong, and pool table and Jumbotron upstairs. We had several friends join us for a long weekend and everyone had their own private space, never felt cramped and everyone had something to entertain them. The 3 minute walk to the beach was great, especially with the beach supplies provided( chairs, umbrellas, and a beach cart). We cooked most meals in the extraordinarily large kitchen, where there is two of everything! The owners spared nothing, with beverage fridges everywhere, three laundry rooms, two living rooms, comfortable pool furniture, a huge grill, and TVs everywhere!! We’re so glad to be able to spend our vacation week at Carousel, and 850 Vacations were great to work with, readily available to answer questions! Loved the nearby shops, bar/restaurants, and coffee shops in and near Blue Mountain. Highly recommend!!

Loved our vacation. I was completely blown away by the facilities. This home is delivers everything you could expect. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with equipment. Everything was doubled. Plenty of ability to cook for 20+ people. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids occupied. Sonos sound system made managing music delightful. Pool was clean. Most everything you could have wanted was provided. We had 14 people in this home. That includes two older gentlemen who were using walkers. My 14 year old son using a wheelchair and the rest of the people ranged in age from 10-90. Had a couple chances to interact with management company and found them to be extremely responsive and pleasant. I would stay here again and are already looking at next year. Thank you.

This was a terrific rental. We had three families consisting of 17 people. It was large enough to comfortably have another family stay. Proximity to the beach was great and very quiet beach area. Outdoor living area was outstanding and the kids lived out there. We used the top floor to watch ncaa tournament and see the sun set. Communication and everything else makes this a perfect rental.

My family and I enjoyed a week staying at Carousel and all I can say is, WOW! This place is truly special and literally has every high-end amenity that you can think of. The proximity to the beach was great and all of the hot spots were just a golf cart ride away. This home is built to accommodate large groups with 5 King Suites. Everything is oversized which is truly appreciated by this Texas family. The backyard and heated pool were great last week as low temps were in the 50's. The owner/management company communicated perfectly throughout the process and we can't wait to come back again very soon.

Breathtaking stay

This home is incredible. As much as Blue Mountain is a wonderful area, you won’t want to leave. It is perfect for multiple families to rent. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. There are two living rooms and an enormous kitchen. The views are stunning and sunsets are the best I have seen. The elevator is nice to have in this four story paradise. The 4th floor is a personal favorite with stuffing views, a pool table with it’s own megatron above is great for viewing sports. The deck is huge and terrific for a sunset gathering. The 3rd floor gym overlooks the gulf. The spacious 1st floor is where everyone gathers either in the large kitchen, the comfortable living room or out on the deck over looking the jacuzzi and pool (equipped with a volleyball net). The memories created in this beautiful retreat will be unforgettable.

Not only is Carousel absolutely stunning; it provided the perfect space and entertainment for our family and friends. We actually never left for outside entertainment which was so nice. The beach is very easy to access and the beautiful pool was so much fun for us all. And we cooked dinners on the amazing stove top in the very spacious kitchen and by the pool at the grill for game days. At night we went up to the 4th floor to watch football on the JumboTron while playing pool and enjoying the stunning view off the balcony. Each bedroom had ample room with spacious bathrooms so we all had great privacy. We are looking forward to our next stay!!
