Doodlebug Cottage

We loved doodlebug cottage! It was very clean!!! Very comfortable and a great location!!! Easy check-in. We would love to stay in doodlebug again:)

Very nice home with extremely close access to Camp Watercolor pools and short bike ride to the beach…great time was had by the whole family!

Doodle Bug is a very nice home and a good location. The only two 'minor' items I would suggest are to install an outdoor shower and equip the kitchen with a few more larger serving dishes. Again, these are very minor items. The house was very nice and the check-in and check-out very easy.

After moving from the MidWest, we wanted to see why everyone talked about and chose the 30A area for Spring Break. We were specifically looking for a pet friendly property and, surprisingly, there were limited options. We did not know what to expect but the Doodlebug Cottage seemed to offer everything we needed on paper. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with ALL the things WaterColor and the Doodlebug Cottage had to offer. Location was ideal to the Publix Shopping Center, Seaside Town Center / Food Trucks, Camp WaterColor, Lake / Beach / Pools and shops. We rented a golf cart and it was the best way to get around the area with ease. Our daughter wants to go back next year so that clearly equals a 5 star rating.

We were perfectly comfortable in this beautiful home. We had ample space for our family of five. We enjoyed walking and running the trails daily and loved riding bikes to everything. The bike rentals were reasonably priced and every place had bike racks. We would love to come back to Doodlebug Cottage soon!

Very nice house with great location in Watercolor.

We loved staying here! It was very comfortable and easy. Perfect arrangement for 2 couples with 2 king beds on the first floor. Super nice porch and back deck with grill (does need brighter lighting out back as it’s very dark in the parking area). Highly recommend this house, and we’ve stayed at a lot of them in Watercolor.

This was our first time to watercolor and it did not disappoint! House is just down the street from the beach and very close access to the pool with the slides. Fun time!

There was plenty of room for everyone with plenty of space. We loved the screened in porch which was a great addition to this beautiful home. We loved the area and my girls took great advantage of the bike rental that was close. I loved the fact we could walk to the pool complex behind us which included my mothers favorite, the lazy river. We totally enjoyed our stay!!

We absolutely loved our time at Doodlebug cottage and will definitely be booking again in the future. It is walking distance to Camp Watercolor, which was perfect for our toddler, especially after he discovered he didn't like sand! If I could provide any critical feedback at all, which is very minor compared to our overall experience, it would be that the standard home rental supplies (garbage bags, paper towels, soap, no salt/pepper, no dishwasher detergent, no coffee or Keurig etc.) were extremely limited so pack all that to avoid extra Publix trips, although Publix is also super close! This is really not a complaint, just a heads up to pack that stuff. The house was beautiful, we absolutely recommend, and will 100% be returning.
