Kiddoboo Cottage

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kiddoboo Cottage during the off-season in October, and it exceeded all our expectations. This beach house is nothing short of amazing and embodies everything you'd imagine in an ideal beach retreat—and more. The house itself is a gem, with every detail carefully curated to create a true beach house experience. From the charming decor to the thoughtful amenities, Kiddoboo Cottage made our stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. The well-stocked provisions provided a convenient and homey touch, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. One standout aspect was the responsiveness of the management company. They were not only friendly and professional but also quick to address any concerns. We encountered a small hiccup with the pool heater, but the management team went above and beyond to resolve the issue promptly. To our satisfaction, they even refunded our money, showcasing their commitment to excellent customer service. If you're contemplating a vacation in Destin, look no further than Kiddoboo Cottage. The property was great for our group. Everyone had enough space, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and had the perfect back yard and pool. Will be coming back to this same house next year!

Stayed here with a large group and the house was fantastic. It’s a great location either to walk or use the golf cart to get to the beach. We had a blast and would stay here again. The property manager was also great to communicate with.

We had a full house and a great week in Destin. Location was perfect distance to the beach although the public access was extremely limited. Loved the home and the features, the only issue was the ice machine did not work and we had to buy lots of ice. Pool water turned green BUT we had used it almost 24/7 and added water to cool it down, they made an additional trip to handle so this is more of an attaboy than a complaint. Would book here again without question.

We had 17 family members stay at this house. Multiple couples and 7 teens. It was very nice for all the couples to have a private bathroom and bedroom. The bunk rooms for the kids were perfect too! The only thing that would have made the rooms better is some kind of dresser especially for the bunk rooms. Each room has a small closet but just not much space for their belongings so everything had to be on the floor. The location from the beach was great. A very short walk with direct access from the street the house is located on. When the teens were tired of beach time, we felt safe to let them walk back alone. The public access was really small as the surrounding condos would not allow anyone else on their beach. It was so hot though we really didn’t sit much. We just parked our wagon and headed to the water. The pool was nice and the backyard set up was great for good family times! The door alarm for the back door was kind of annoying but totally understand it’s purpose if a family is there with small children. We loved having the golf cart and used it so much! Many Bad Ass Coffee, Sonic Milkshake runs and Alvin Islands runs were made! Really the only true issue we had was the ice maker didn’t work. A maintenance person was sent but had to order a part needed.

We loved the house. It was the perfect layout for our family. The kitchen had plenty of dishes , pots and pans and utensils. We loved having our own pool. We were close enough to the beach that we walked. We did not use the golf cart. The stove top tends to be too hot so we burned a few things, like our French toast.

The house is beautiful just as pictured. It was clean and ready for us to check in on time. Our group had a wonderful time in this beach house. This property had everything that you could possibly want, from the location to all the amenities. Having the golf cart was very very convenient, it made going to the beach so quick and easy. Would definitely stay there again if we have a need for that big of a place.

This home is amazing and beautiful! We had 8 adults and 6 children under the age of 6 years! Everyone had their own bedroom and private bath. The children especially enjoyed the bunk rooms. The layout of the main floor is spacious with a well-stocked kitchen and nice eating area with large dining table for a big group. We all loved the backyard with the large heated pool. We had little ones, and so appreciated the door alarms going out to the pool. There are pool and sand toys but plenty of nearby stores to buy more. The golf cart was so much fun and very handy. The beach access is very close and a quick cart ride or walk. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded, even though it was Spring Break. We spent many hours playing in the water and sand! There are so many great places to eat or do take out! Take advantage of the fresh fish! The grouper and red snapper was amazing! Our family loved this vacation and it was the perfect place to be together. We all want to come back!
